Bo Lex to prawo. Praw i przepisów jest mnóstwo, zdecydowanie za dużo. Podobno uchwalonych w Polsce przepisów w 2015 było ponad 25000 stron. Czy ktoś to w ogóle przeczytał? Przyswoił?
Znamy prawo ciążenia, prawo o ruchu drogowym, prawo cywilne, niektórzy z podwórka (czyli placu, bo jesteśmy z Katowic) pamiętają prawo Pascala…
Ale prawo, to stanowione, jest wszędzie. Reguluje ruch uliczny. Pozwala ustalić, kto ma zapłacić za stłuczoną w markecie butelkę oleju, zrzuconą z półki przez przebiegającego, niesfornego berbecia… Dzięki prawu dowiemy się czy na pewno „po odejściu od kasy reklamacji nie uwzględnia się” albo czy to kupujący ma mieć drobne, a najlepiej „zgodne” w chwili zakupu. Prawo procesowe normuje zasady postępowania przed sądem, reguły gry znanej milionom naszych rodaków. A może zupełnie nieznanej?!
Jako Stowarzyszenie Sędziów Polskich „Iustitia” od kilku lat aktywnie rozwijamy świadomość prawną rodaków. Chodzimy do szkół i przeszkoli, realizujemy szereg edukacyjnych przedsięwzięć. Z tym większa radością zapraszamy na TEDxKatowiceSalon: LEX paragraf 2. TEDx to przecież idee warte rozpowszechniania. A że nieznajomość prawa szkodzi, o czym przekonywali już starożytni, to rozpowszechnianie prawnej wiedzy to nasz wspólny obowiązek.
Podczas majowego wydarzenia, świetni prelegenci, prawnicy od studenta po doświadczonych mecenasów, przekonają widzów, że nastolatek może wygrać poważny proces z własnym państwem, że warto chodzić do sądu, że jako czytelnicy mediów mamy prawo do prawdy, że… Przekonajcie się sami.

Below we publish the text of Jaroslaw Gwizdak, judge of District Court Katowice-West, member of the Association of Polish Judges Iustitia and TEDxKatowice team. We invite you to the 6th meeting of TEDxKatowiceSalon: Lex Paragraph 2.
Because Lex mean law. There are many laws and regulations, definitely too many. Of regulations supposedly passed in Poland there were over 25000 pages in 2015. Generally speaking did somebody read it? Did he acquire?
We know the law of universal gravitation, law on the road traffic, civil law, some from the courtyard (that is of square, because we are from Katowice) remember the Pascal’s law…
But law, it constituted, it is everywhere. It is regulating the road traffic. It is showing, who is supposed to pay for the bottle of oil broken in the supermarket, knocked off from the shelf by the running, naughty toddler… Thanks to the law we will learn whether certainly „after leaving the store the customer complaint isn’t included” or whether the purchaser is supposed to have change, and best „agreeable” in the moment of the purchase. The adjective law is regulating rules of conduct before the court, the rules of the game familiar to million of our countrymen. Yet maybe completely unknown?!
As Polish Judge Association „Iustitia” we are actively developing the legal awareness of countrymen for a few years. We talk about law in schools, we are carrying of educational undertakings out. Therefore with joy we are inviting you to TEDxKatowiceSalon: LEX 2. TEDx is after all, ideas worth spreading. And what the ancient already convinced: the ignorance of the law harms, spreading the legal knowledge is our joint obligation.
During this event, excellent speakers, lawyers from the student for experienced patrons, they will convince spectators that the teenager can win the serious process against the own state, that it is worthwhile walking to the court, that as readers of media we have the right to a truth, that… you will see.
